Christopher Emmanuel "Chris" Paul (born May 6, 1985) is the American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Clippers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Standing at 6 ft 0 in (1.83 m) and weighing 175 lb (79 kg), he's got began exclusively in the position of point guard. Paul has won the NBA Rookie of the Year Medal, an Olympic gold medal, and led a NBA for assists three times and steals 6 times. He's recently been chosen to 7 NBA All-Star teams, six All-NBA teams, and six All-Defensive teams.
Paul was a McDonald's All-American in high school. He has been selected 4th total in the 2005 NBA draft with the New Orleans Hornets and traded with the Clippers in 2011.
In December 8, 2011, the Hornets accepted a three-team trade transferring Paul for the L . A . Lakers. A NBA, which owned the team during the time, nullified the offer, along with commissioner David Stern claiming New Orleans would be better off keeping Paul.The clubs taking part in the trade tried out to negotiate the league to change its ruling and reconstruct the offer does not help.On December 12, the Hornets agreed to a trade sending Paul for the Los Angeles Clippers, even so the deal broke down once the NBA added further demands for the authentic terms. Two days further, the teams now formed the deal, transferring Paul and 2 future 2nd stage draft picks in the Clippers for Eric Gordon, Chris Kaman, Al-Farouq Aminu, and also Minnesota Timberwolves' unprotected first round pick on the 2012 draft. After the deal's completion, Paul declared that he might opt in the final season of his agreement and stay in La for about 2 more years.
